PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

'Highlands at Leura' is perched high on the block and when residing in this enchanting home, it feels like you are in your own tree house, surrounded by lush green vegetation.

Hidden from the street, up its own private lane-way, this cosy four bedroom cottage is privately positioned, designed to bring in much natural light, with a soft green bush outlook. The open plan living area, with vaulted ceilings, has a fully equipped kitchen and there are quality furnishings throughout. Sliding doors open out, on to spacious, covered entertainment decks both front and rear.

Set in the picturesque upper mountains, it is superbly located within a short stroll to the Leura Village, known for its charming cafes, quality restaurants and boutique shopping. close by you will find pristine cliff edge walks, rainforests, cascading waterfalls and spectacular views. Katoomba, with all its attractions is a 5 minute drive away.

With central heating and a slow combustion wood burning fire, ‘Highlands at Leura’ has ample warmth, for the cool mountain weather. Reverse cycle air conditioning keeps the main living area comfortably cool during the summer months.

There are three bedrooms in the main house, upstairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed with ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and bedroom 3 has two king single beds. There is also a double sofa-bed, in the living area upstairs for additional guests. The main bathroom serves the house with a large two person spa plus separate shower. The downstairs studio has a queen size bed (plus a single fold-away bed is available on request). The studio has it's own bathroom and a TV with sitting area.

Highlands at Leura can sleep up to 10 (with 7 separate beds) and is suitable for couples, families, friend groups, church house-parties, etc. We welcome guests with dogs. The back garden at Highlands is fully fenced and dog-proof. We allow guests to have their dogs inside the house on the polished board areas but ask that you keep them out of the carpeted bedrooms in the interest of future guests.
